Jack Strand Slotted As Backup Quarterback For Falcons In Week 2

Jack Strand will serve as the backup quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons in Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. With starter Cooper Rush leading the offense due to injuries sidelining both Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) and Michael Penix Jr. (knee), Strand moves into the primary backup role as the Falcons manage their quarterback depth chart for the division matchup.
