Tua Tagovailoa Ruled Out For Sunday's Week 2 Game With Oblique Injury

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers after missing all week of practice. Tagovailoa sustained a strained oblique last Thursday and was unable to practice, making him doubtful before the final designation. He will join Michael Penix Jr. on the sideline as Cooper Rush takes the start, with Tagovailoa aiming to return for next Thursday's road matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
