Terry McLaurin Faced Heavy Double Coverage In Washington Week 1 Opener

Washington Commanders general manager Adam Peters addressed Terry McLaurin's quiet Week 1 target share, explaining that the Philadelphia Eagles heavily rolled cloud coverage and double teams toward the star wide receiver to completely take him away. Peters emphasized that McLaurin remains a cornerstone of the offense and will easily rebound over the course of the season. His outlook is also boosted by Chig Okonkwo's hamstring injury potentially funneling more targets his way.
