Josh Downs Faces Slot Heavy Usage And Targets Scarcity

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs led the team in offensive snaps and routes run in Week 1 against the Ravens, catching two passes on an opening-drive surge before failing to see another target. Despite offseason reports suggesting an expanded outside role, Downs played 78.8 percent of his snaps from the slot, mirroring his historical usage. Fantasy managers are advised to exercise caution before inserting him into starting lineups.
