Avonte Maddox Suffers Foot Injury, Lions Coach Not Optimistic

Detroit Lions safety Avonte Maddox sustained a foot injury in the first half of Thursday's game against the Buffalo Bills, reportedly from a friendly-fire hit. He was carted off, downgraded to out, and later seen on crutches. Head coach Dan Campbell expressed concern, stating Maddox is 'pretty tough' and his inability to return makes him nervous, pending further testing. The Lions are already thin at safety with Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch on the PUP list.
