Aroldis Chapman Sidelined Thursday Due to Ongoing Lat Issue

Boston Red Sox left-hander Aroldis Chapman was unavailable for Thursday's 4-3 win over the Texas Rangers due to a lingering lat issue. Interim manager Chad Tracy noted that Chapman has been dealing with the discomfort for a couple of days and that the Red Sox plan to be cautious and "conservative" with the veteran reliever. In Chapman's absence, Garrett Whitlock stepped in to secure his fourth save of the season.
