Ilya Sorokin Supported by Returning Varlamov in Islanders Camp

New York Islanders starting goaltender Ilya Sorokin welcomed veteran partner Semyon Varlamov back to the ice at training camp following Varlamov's recovery from dual partial knee replacements. Head coach Pete DeBoer emphasized the importance of managing Sorokin's workload across the 84-game schedule, targeting roughly 30 starts for the backup goaltender position to prevent overusing their star netminder.
