Colts Linebackers Coach Addresses Rookie CJ Allen's Lack Of Playing Time

Indianapolis Colts rookie linebacker CJ Allen was limited solely to the sidelines during the team's Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, failing to play a single defensive or special teams snap. Projected as a starter before missing significant training camp time due to calf and hamstring strains, Allen is currently working to catch up to the speed of the NFL. Linebackers coach James Bettcher emphasized that Allen's preparation has been exceptional and his time will eventually come.
