Aaron Nola Tosses Seven Scoreless Innings in Gem Against Mets

Philadelphia Phillies starter Aaron Nola carried a no-hit bid into the sixth inning, tossing seven scoreless frames with four strikeouts, three hits, and three walks in a 3-0 win over the Mets. Nola (7-10) extended his streak of eight consecutive starts allowing two earned runs or fewer, lowering his ERA to 4.49. With Jesús Luzardo sidelined, Nola's stellar late-season surge has been crucial, owning a 1.86 ERA over his last eight starts ahead of his next turn.
