Zach Wood Facing 4-6 Week Absence Due to Calf Strain

New Orleans Saints veteran long snapper Zach Wood did not participate in Thursday's practice after suffering a calf strain that is expected to sideline him for four to six weeks. Wood, who is currently in his 10th season with New Orleans, has not missed a single regular-season game since signing with the franchise in 2017. The Saints signed Scott Daly to the practice squad to fill his role on special teams.
