Levi Onwuzurike Re-Signed to Lions Active Roster Ahead of Bills Game

The Detroit Lions signed defensive tackle Levi Onwuzurike off their practice squad to the active 53-man roster on Thursday ahead of their matchup with the Buffalo Bills. Onwuzurike was briefly cut prior to Week 1 to manage contract guarantees before returning to the practice squad. A 2021 second-round pick who missed last season with a torn ACL, Onwuzurike has played in 42 career games and is eligible to make his 2026 debut on Thursday night.
