Xzavion Curry Optioned After Rough Start in Place of Injured Stock

New York Mets right-hander Xzavion Curry was optioned back down to the minor leagues following a difficult spot start. Curry was called upon Wednesday to fill in for the injured Robert Stock but struggled heavily, getting knocked around for six runs on six hits and three home runs over just three innings of work against the Phillies. The Mets recalled Cameron Weston from Triple-A Syracuse in a corresponding roster move.
