New York Jets Evaluation of Claimed Kicker Blake Grupe

The New York Jets claimed 27-year-old kicker Blake Grupe off waivers following final roster cuts. Grupe was inactive for the team's opener as Jason Sanders handled kicking duties, but his background includes stints with the Saints and Colts, highlighted by going 11-for-11 on field goals down the stretch in 2025. The Jets are currently sticking with Sanders but may give Grupe an opportunity if struggles continue.
