Mitch Voit Named Mets Player Development Player of the Year

New York Mets prospect Mitch Voit was named the organization's Player Development Player of the Year following a dominant 2026 campaign. After making swing adjustments that led to a slow High-A start, the 21-year-old erupted in Double-A Binghamton, slashing .347/.430/.517 with 12 doubles, two home runs, and 18 RBIs across 29 games. The natural second baseman has added shortstop to his repertoire ahead of 2027.
