Connelly Early Tracks Toward Team Debut for Washington Nationals on Sept. 26

Washington Nationals president of baseball operations Paul Toboni announced that Connelly Early is tentatively scheduled to make his team debut on Sept. 26 against the Mets. Acquired at the trade deadline from the Red Sox, Early has missed nearly three months with left elbow inflammation. He recently made his first rehab appearance with Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday, allowing three runs over 35 pitches in one inning.
