David Bednar Suffers Fourth Blown Save in Extra-Innings Loss to Twins

New York Yankees closer David Bednar was charged with his fourth blown save of the season during Wednesday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Minnesota Twins. Bednar pitched two innings, allowing two unearned runs on three hits with two strikeouts and no walks while failing to protect one-run leads in both the 10th and 11th frames. The outing snapped his streak of seven consecutive save conversions, though he maintains a 2.45 ERA and 1.02 WHIP over his last 13 appearances.
