Blake Treinen Replaces Injured Blake Snell in Dodgers Game vs. Reds

Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Blake Treinen took over on the mound in the second inning of Wednesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Treinen entered the contest in relief of starter Blake Snell, who was forced to exit after throwing 19 pitches in a scoreless first frame due to left groin tightness. Treinen's appearance came in a scoreless game as the Dodgers bullpen was pressed into early duty due to unexpected pitching injuries.
