Romeo Doubs Wears No. 87 as Rob Gronkowski Shares Thoughts

New England Patriots wide receiver Romeo Doubs is wearing jersey No. 87 this season, a number previously made famous by legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski. Speaking on a recent podcast, Gronkowski revealed he was not consulted about Doubs adopting the number but expressed that he does not mind, stating Tom Brady's No. 12 is the only number that truly deserves retirement in New England. Doubs enters Week 2 as a starting wide receiver for the Patriots offense.
