Jackson Holliday Placed on 10-Day Injured List With Left Wrist Inflammation

Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jackson Holliday was placed on the 10-day injured list with left wrist inflammation, retroactive to Tuesday. Manager Craig Albernaz noted the young infielder was banged up before the team made the official IL move. Holliday will be eligible to return before Baltimore's final series against the Yankees. Jeremiah Jackson takes over primary second base duties, while Jose Barrero joins the club from Triple-A for infield depth.
