Jared Jones Makes 19th Start for Pirates After Scoreless September

Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Jared Jones made his 19th start of the season on Wednesday against the division-rival Milwaukee Brewers at PNC Park. Jones entered the outing on an impressive run in September, having thrown 13 consecutive scoreless innings across his previous starts, including a seven-inning, one-hit victory over the White Sox on August 10. Overall on the year, Jones carries a 4-6 record, 4.10 ERA, and looks to avenge an August 4 loss to Milwaukee.
