Sean Murphy Starts at Catcher as Braves Pursue Playoff Spot

Atlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy returned to the starting lineup behind the plate for Wednesday night's series finale against the Chicago Cubs. The Braves offense aims to regain its early-season momentum after dropping to 16th in MLB scoring since the start of September despite ranking eighth overall on the year. Murphy and the Braves look to secure a postseason berth and narrow their magic number against Cubs starter Shota Imanaga while capitalizing on Chicago's bullpen.
