Los Angeles Dodgers 19-year-old prospect Emil Morales was named to the Midwest League All-Star team following an impressive stint at shortstop for High-A Great Lakes. After beginning the season with Class-A Ontario and earning a promotion in May, Morales batted .281/.380/.534 across 81 games with the Loons.
