Jarren Duran Out of Starting Lineup Against Southpaw MacKenzie Gore

Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran was left out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Texas Rangers and southpaw MacKenzie Gore. Duran has struggled significantly at the plate down the stretch, slashing just .171/.227/.268 in September to bring his full-season line down to .204/.261/.361. Despite sitting just one steal shy of a 20-20 campaign, Duran's playing time against left-handed pitching appears set to remain limited for the rest of the year.
