Joshua Baez Exits Game Early Due to Left Side Tightness

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Joshua Baez was removed prior to extra innings in Wednesday's contest against the San Francisco Giants due to left side tightness. Baez popped out in the bottom of the eighth inning and finished the day hitless in four plate appearances before exiting. The Cardinals are currently considering the outfielder day-to-day for the time being, though it remains unclear whether he will be sent for further imaging tests to determine severity.
