Kris Bubic Activated Off 60-Day Injured List by Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers activated left-handed pitcher Kris Bubic off the 60-day injured list on Wednesday. Acquired from the Kansas City Royals at the August 3 trade deadline, Bubic had been sidelined since mid-May with elbow and shoulder soreness. He made six rehab appearances for Triple-A Oklahoma City, tossing 5 2/3 scoreless innings with nine strikeouts. Outfielder Ryan Ward was designated for assignment to clear a 40-man spot.
