Aaron Jones Set for Increased Workload With Mason on IR
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones is set for an expanded backfield role after co-starter Jordan Mason was placed on injured reserve with a fractured thumb. Jones impressed in Week 1 with a touchdown on 30 snaps, but Mason led the team with 15 carries. With Mason sidelined for at least four weeks, Jones will spearhead Minnesota's rushing attack in Week 2 against Chicago.
