Zebby Matthews Starts for Twins in Series Finale Versus Yankees

Minnesota Twins right-hander Zebby Matthews gets the start on Wednesday as Minnesota tries to avoid a series sweep at the hands of the New York Yankees. The young pitcher has experienced an up-and-down stretch in recent outings, following up an eight-plus inning, one-run masterpiece on Aug. 30 with a four-run start against Chicago and a brief appearance in Detroit where he surrendered five runs and four walks in under three innings of work.
