JJ Wetherholt Activated Off Injured List by St. Louis Cardinals

The St. Louis Cardinals activated rookie second baseman JJ Wetherholt from the 10-day injured list on Wednesday after missing 15 games due to right wrist tendinitis. Wetherholt cleared all physical hurdles during a pregame workout without discomfort before Wednesday's game against the San Francisco Giants. In 130 games this season, the 24-year-old is hitting .242 with 17 home runs, 14 doubles, 48 RBI, 88 runs, and 14 stolen bases.
