Chandler Simpson Sparks Rays Offense With Three-Hit Performance

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Chandler Simpson led the offense by recording three of the team's six hits in a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Oakland Athletics. Simpson doubled off the wall in deep line-drive fashion, advanced to third base on a groundout, and scored Tampa Bay's first run of the contest on a passed ball. His stellar night at the plate provided vital spark prior to Junior Caminero's ninth-inning game-ending home run.
