Shane Baz Leaves Game After Being Hit by 105-MPH Line Drive

Baltimore Orioles pitcher Shane Baz was forced to leave Tuesday's start against the New York Mets after being struck on his right arm by Bo Bichette's 105.1-mph line drive in the fifth inning. Baz attempted a warm-up pitch following the impact, but after it sailed well over the catcher's head, the Orioles immediately removed him from the contest. He is expected to undergo diagnostic imaging to determine if he suffered an elbow fracture or serious structural damage.
