Frankie Luvu Suffers Minor Groin Strain in Washington Opener
Washington Commanders linebacker Frankie Luvu suffered a mild groin strain during a 24-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Luvu played 29 snaps, totaling four tackles and a sack, before leaving the game. His availability for Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys remains uncertain. Rookie Sonny Styles took over green-dot defensive play-caller duties and would do so again if Luvu is unable to suit up, with Leo Chenal also stepping in.
