Trey Yesavage Struggles in Brief Triple-A Rehab Outing
Toronto Blue Jays pitching prospect Trey Yesavage struggled during a Triple-A rehab appearance with Buffalo on Tuesday, failing to get out of the first inning. Yesavage threw 34 pitches and recorded just two outs while allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits and a walk while topping out at 94.4 mph on his fastball. Despite the shaky outing, Toronto still hopes the 23-year-old right-hander can start for the big club on Sept. 21 in Baltimore.
