San Francisco 49ers Host Defensive Tackle Tryouts After Alfred Collins Injury

San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Alfred Collins suffered an injury that led the organization to conduct free-agent tryouts on Tuesday. Looking to bolster their interior defensive line depth alongside a practice squad addition, the 49ers evaluated veteran defensive tackles Larry Ogunjobi and Daniel Ekuale. Ogunjobi recorded five tackles for loss with Buffalo in 2025, while Ekuale started 16 games for the Patriots in 2024.
