Tyrel Dodson Signed to Carolina Panthers 53-Man Roster

The Carolina Panthers signed veteran linebacker Tyrel Dodson to their 53-man active roster from the practice squad on Tuesday. Dodson spent last season with the Miami Dolphins, recording 129 tackles, five sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble in 16 starts. The 28-year-old run defender was added to bolster the defense after Carolina surrendered 291 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground during their season opener against Chicago.
