Joshua Baez Receives Extra Day Off in St. Louis Cardinals Lineup

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Joshua Baez is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants. Baez has been receiving extra rest recently, marking his third absence in the team's last seven contests. The organization may be managing his playing time to ensure he retains rookie eligibility for 2027, as he currently sits at 96 at-bats, short of the 130-at-bat threshold. Bryan Torres will play left field in his place.
