Josue De Paula Elevated to Dodgers Leadoff Spot as Hype Builds

Los Angeles Dodgers top prospect Josue De Paula made his first start as the leadoff hitter on Tuesday, going 0-for-5 as the designated hitter against Cincinnati. The 21-year-old, who drew comparisons to Juan Soto for his plate discipline and stance, has reached base safely in half of his 14 plate appearances since his call-up straight from Double-A. De Paula already has a double and three-run home run on the season.
