Cole Mathis Named Among Mets Prospects Set for Arizona Fall League

Cole Mathis is among eight New York Mets prospects selected to participate in the upcoming Arizona Fall League starting in October. Mathis, a first baseman ranked 17th on SNY's top 30 list, was acquired by the Mets from the Chicago Cubs in the trade that sent David Peterson the other way. The prestigious developmental league provides young players with crucial additional repetitions following the conclusion of the minor league season.
