Max Meyer Ruled Out for Remainder of Season Due to Neck Strain

Miami Marlins manager Clayton McCullough announced that right-hander Max Meyer has been shut down from throwing and will not return this season due to a neck strain. Meyer landed on the 15-day IL after the All-Star break and attempted a late-month rehab return before the decision to shut him down. He will undergo further evaluation but is expected to be ready by spring training, finishing 2026 with a 2.68 ERA across 111 innings.
