Joe Jiménez Begins Rehabilitation Assignment With Gwinnett Stripers

Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Joe Jiménez has officially begun a rehabilitation assignment with the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers. Jiménez has been working his way back from a long recovery following live batting practice sessions. While asking him to return to the major league bullpen immediately with the postseason approaching is a tall task, the veteran reliever is making a positive step toward returning to action for the Braves.
