Matthew Stafford and Rams Offense Stumble in Season Opener

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford played his worst game since 2021, finishing without a touchdown pass in a 27-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia. Stafford never looked comfortable against his former coordinator Raheem Morris, and a failed fourth-and-goal quarterback sneak orchestrated by Sean McVay broke the team's momentum. Stafford completed 290 total yards of offense but admitted they must play better.
