Xavier Worthy Opens Season With Three Catches in Win Over Broncos

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy secured three of six targets for 18 yards in the team's 31-10 season-opening victory over the Denver Broncos. Worthy was on the receiving end of Patrick Mahomes' very first completion of the season, a 9-yard gain setting up a scoring drive. Though he produced modest gains on his other grabs as Mahomes largely targeted other options, Worthy boasts high upside for future production starting in Week 2 against the Colts.
