Saquon Barkley Displays Efficiency Despite Low-Volume Opener

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had a solid opener Sunday against Washington, averaging 5.5 yards per carry across his 15 attempts on a low-volume offensive day. The Eagles ran just 53 plays to Washington's 67 and held the ball for 6:40 less. Barkley did not factor heavily in the passing game, faced iffy interior blocking, and watched a starting guard depart with an injury.
