JR Ritchie Recalled From Triple-A to Start Wednesday Against Cubs

JR Ritchie has been announced as the starting pitcher for Wednesday's series finale against the Chicago Cubs, taking the rotation spot of AJ Smith-Shawver, who has moved to the bullpen. Ritchie will be recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett. Skipper Walt Weiss also stated after Monday's game that Reynaldo Lopez (shoulder) may be headed to the injured list, potentially opening up additional starting opportunities down the stretch for Ritchie if he performs well Wednesday.
