Jesús Sánchez Claimed Off Waivers by Diamondbacks From Blue Jays

Outfielder Jesús Sánchez has been claimed off waivers by the Arizona Diamondbacks from the Toronto Blue Jays. Despite raw power, Sánchez was unable to fully unlock his offensive potential during his stint in Toronto. The move opens a roster spot on the Blue Jays' 40-man roster while providing Arizona with an intriguing power-hitting option for their outfield depth as they adjust their major league roster.
