Johnathan Edwards Waived by Colts Following Week 1

The Indianapolis Colts waived cornerback Johnathan Edwards on Monday after he was declared inactive for Sunday's opener against Baltimore. Edwards initially signed with Indianapolis as an undrafted free agent in May 2025, appearing in 14 games with five starts as a rookie while compiling 24 tackles and three passes defensed. Indianapolis has not announced a corresponding roster move.
