Alec Pierce Avoids Serious Hand Injury in Colts Week 1 Loss

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce avoided a serious issue after banging up his left hand and wrist during a Week 1 loss to the Ravens. Head coach Shane Steichen stated Pierce is "good right now" after post-game X-rays came back negative. Pierce wore a brace after the game but is not expected to miss any playing time.
