Michael Mayer Leads Raiders With Heavy Volume in Week 1 Win

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer posted a strong volume performance with 6 catches for 32 yards in a Week 1 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Stepping in to fill the void left by Brock Bowers, Mayer commanded a team-high 20% target share from the offense. Although his yardage was relatively light, his heavy involvement underscores his expanding role in the passing game early in the 2026 campaign.
