Da'Shawn Hand Out for Season With Torn Quad Injury

Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand suffered a torn quad during Week 1 against Pittsburgh and will undergo season-ending surgery. Head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Hand's severe injury after playing just seven snaps in his Falcons debut. His loss leaves Atlanta's front seven severely depleted, forcing the team to search for defensive line depth as Hand misses the remainder of the 2026 season.
