Luis Severino Expected To Have Normal Offseason After Shoulder Injury
Severino logged a bullpen session Saturday and is expected to have a normal offseason. The right-hander hit the injured list May 30 due to a right shoulder strain that ended his 2026 campaign after going 2-6 with a 4.16 ERA and 65:31 K:BB across 12 starts and 62.2 innings. Though he holds a $22 million player option for 2027, he is likely to return to the Athletics.
