Pete Alonso Receives Raucous Ovations in Citi Field Return

Pete Alonso received standing ovations and loud fan chants during his return to Citi Field in Baltimore's 2-1 win over the Mets, a victory that officially eliminated his former club. Alonso went 0-for-3 with a walk, nearly hitting his 300th career home run with a long foul ball. In his first year with the Orioles after signing a five-year, $155 million deal, the durable slugger is slashing .269/.363/.499 with 35 home runs and 100 RBIs through 151 games.
